What will we do:

This retreat is specific for shop owners and people who want to teach Laura's collage technique. We will cover the kit cutting process to help your shops in cutting your collage kits with a focus on packaging, merchandising and pricing. You will spend Wednesday afternoon and Thursday making a collage pattern that Laura designed specifically for this event. You and your shop will be the first to have this pattern, and you will have your sample ready to show!

Wednesday

9:00-12:00 Begin at Fiberworks for a tour of Laura’s shop. Ideas for kitting, cutting, what kinds of fabrics work, packaging and pricing will be discussed. You will receive your kit and pattern for class. After lunch (provided), class will be held at the Dan Walt Gardens located at 720 Washington Street in Billings. We will begin fusing and cutting fabrics for your collage. Dinner and cash bar will be included at the Dan Walt Gardens. You will be able to work on your collage into the evening.

Thursday

9:00-4:00  Class at Dan Walt Gardens. Work on your collage quilts! Lunch provided. Photo shoot at 4:00!

**Note: If you have food allergies we will do our best to accommodate you with our caterers. We cannot guarantee with certain menu items so please be prepared to bring your own food or order in from a few companies here in town that are allergy specific.

What will I need to bring?
The additional supply list will be emailed closer to the event.

**Please note that there will be no substitutions of projects. The project will be a surprise and you will get your kit on Wednesday morning!
